Funding Traders Marks Three Years With 53K Accounts Funded and 48-Hour Payout Guarantee - Prop Weekly

Funding Traders, founded in 2023, has crossed the three-year mark with more than 53,000 funded accounts and a payout guarantee that puts cash on the line: miss the 48-hour window and the firm pays $1,000 — $500 cash plus $500 in credit.

Four Challenge Paths, One Guarantee

The firm offers four distinct evaluation models, all covered by the same payout guarantee:

  • Instant Funded — no profit target, 3% daily / 6% max trailing drawdown, 1% risk per trade, 15% consistency score, 14-day payout cycle. Profit split 90–100%. Account sizes from $10K ($159) to $400K ($2,349).
  • 1-Step — 10% profit target, 3% daily / 10% max static drawdown, 4 minimum trading days, 50% consistency score, 2% risk per trade (funded only), 14-day payout cycle. Profit split 90–100%. Account sizes from $5K ($49) to $200K ($999).
  • 2-Step Pro10 — Phase 1: 10% target, Phase 2: 5% target, 5% daily / 10% max static drawdown, 4 minimum trading days per phase, 2% risk per trade (funded only), 14–21 day payout cycle. Profit split 80–100%. Account sizes from $5K ($50) to $200K ($999).
  • 2-Step Pro6 — Phase 1: 6% target, Phase 2: 6% target, 3% daily / 6% max static drawdown, 4 minimum trading days per phase, 2% risk per trade (funded only), 14–21 day payout cycle. Profit split 80–100%. Account sizes from $5K ($39) to $200K ($799).

Profit Splits Meet Industry Benchmarks at the Top End

Industry standard for trader profit splits sits at 80–90%. Funding Traders' Instant Funded and 1-Step products offer 90–100%, placing them in the competitive band. The two 2-step variants start at 80%, which meets the floor but leaves less upside than peers offering 85–90% base splits. Traders choosing the 2-step paths should weigh the lower entry prices against the tighter split.

Platforms, Reset Feature, and Institutional Feed

Trading is available on MetaTrader 5 and TradeLocker with 24/7 market access. A reset feature lets failed Phase 1 challengers retry at 50% off, or continue from Phase 2 at 150% of the original fee. The firm also bundles FT Intel, an institutional order-flow and COT bias feed, into its dashboard.

Why It Matters This Week

With three years of operation, 53,000+ funded accounts, and a payout guarantee backed by a financial penalty, Funding Traders has established a track record that newer entrants lack. The four-path catalog covers instant, 1-step, and two 2-step risk profiles, giving traders flexibility. The 80% base split on 2-step challenges remains the main friction point for cost-sensitive traders comparing against firms offering 85% or higher at similar price points.
