Aqua Funded Lands in Multiple 2026 Best Prop Firm Roundups

Aqua Funded has appeared in at least three 2026 "best prop firms" roundups this quarter, underscening the Dubai-based firm's growing visibility three years after its 2023 launch. The recognitions — from Nubia Magazine in February, a UK-focused list in March, and an MT5-platform roundup also in March — arrive as the firm maintains one of the sector's widest challenge catalogs: seven distinct evaluation paths across instant, one-step, two-step, and three-step formats.

Background and challenge catalog

Founded in 2023, Aqua Funded operates from Dubai and offers traders seven named challenges: Instant Funding (Standard), Instant Funding (Pro), One Step (Standard), One Step (Pro), Two Step (Standard), Two Step (Pro), and Three Step. Account sizes range from $500 to $400,000 depending on the challenge, with entry fees from $29 (Two Step Pro, $5K) to $2,699 (Instant Funding Pro, $400K).

Evaluation structures and key rules

Each challenge carries distinct parameters:

  • Instant Funding (Standard): No profit target, 3% trailing max drawdown, no daily drawdown limit.
  • Instant Funding (Pro): 3% daily drawdown (trailing), 6% max drawdown (trailing).
  • One Step (Standard): 9% profit target, 3% static daily drawdown, 6% trailing max drawdown; funded phase mirrors challenge limits.
  • One Step (Pro): 6% profit target, same drawdown structure as Standard.
  • Two Step (Standard): Step 1: 8% target, 5% static daily/max drawdown; Step 2: 5% target, same limits; funded phase retains 5% static daily and 8% static max drawdown.
  • Two Step (Pro): Step 1: 10% target, 5% static daily, 10% trailing max; Step 2: 5% target, same; funded: 5% static daily, 10% trailing max.
  • Three Step: Three 6% target phases with 4% static daily and 8% static max drawdown throughout; funded phase unchanged.

Platforms and profit splits

Aqua Funded supports four platforms: cTrader, MatchTrader, TradeLocker, and MT5. Every challenge offers a 90% trader profit split by default, with a 100% split option available at checkout. Against the industry benchmark of 80–90% (standard 80%), the 90% base split sits at the competitive upper end, and the 100% option exceeds it.

Why it matters this week

The cluster of 2026 best-of inclusions — Nubia Magazine's global top-10 (Feb 14), an 11-firm UK list (Mar 18), and an MT5-specific roundup (Mar 16) — suggests Aqua Funded's multi-challenge model and platform breadth are resonating with list-makers mid-year. A Reddit warning post noting unexpected liquidations also circulated recently, a reminder that trader experiences vary even at recognized firms. For traders comparing entry paths, Aqua Funded's catalog remains one of the few covering instant through three-step evaluations under one roof.
