Cookie Stuffing Exits Reach 23 Prop Firm Brands - Prop Weekly

The number of brands that have cut ties with a large prop firm comparison site over cookie stuffing allegations has reached 23 as of 6 November 2026, from 19 public statements. Earn2Trade is the latest. It announced the end of its partnership on 2 November, three days after the first wave, citing "concerns about affiliate-tracking practices".

Prop Weekly's first report named four firms that ended affiliate deals, plus Topstep, which dropped a paid listing. It explains how the redirect worked, so this update leaves that out. Thirteen of the 14 names below had posted by 31 October. Earn2Trade followed on 2 November.

What has changed since 30 October

The count has grown almost fivefold, and the site has now given its own dates and an estimate of the effect.

Counts elsewhere are lower. A logo graphic posted on X on 31 October listed 21 brands, 17 of them with a matching statement. It leaves out Traders Launch and shows Earn2Trade as still partnered, and adding those two gives 23.

The 14 names added since that report

Our first report carried none of these statements. All were posted on X.

  • Lucid Trading, 30 Oct: "After a full investigation into [the site]'s cookie practices, we've ended our partnership with them effective immediately."
  • Take Profit Trader, 30 Oct: "Effective immediately, we are terminating our affiliate relationship and disabling all associated tracking codes."
  • Blue Guardian, 30 Oct: "has ended its relationship with [the site], effective immediately"
  • Alpha Capital Group, 30 Oct: "Following a thorough investigation into [the site] and its cookie practices, we have decided to terminate our partnership"
  • Finotive Funding, 30 Oct: "All associated affiliate codes have been disabled." It also says it had disputed how it was ranked "for months".
  • BrightFunded, 30 Oct: "Following an internal investigation into [the site]'s cookie practices", it ended its partnership.
  • FundedElite, 30 Oct: "Following the recent tracking practice claims involving [the site], we are ending our affiliate partnership with them"
  • FuturesElite, 30 Oct: the same wording as FundedElite, one minute later.
  • FXIFY, 30 Oct: "Commission goes to the partner who genuinely introduced the trader."
  • YLOS Trading, 30 Oct: "We made this decision after reviewing referral tracking practices against our affiliate standards." It says accounts already bought are not affected.
  • Funded Futures Family, 30 Oct: "Our investigation remains ongoing to determine the full extent of these practices and their impact."
  • Vest, 30 Oct: "We take who represents us seriously and always put the trader first." This is the weakest of the 19: a team member's reply, from outside the firm's main account.
  • Traders Launch, 31 Oct: "Traders Launch ended its affiliate partnership with [the site] yesterday."
  • Earn2Trade, 2 Nov: "We've ended our partnership with [the site], effective immediately, following concerns about affiliate-tracking practices."

The other four brands are BrightFunded Futures, Finotive Futures, Goat Funded Futures and a second Tradeify-branded logo. Third parties list them as out, following the parent brand. We found no statement of their own.

Order of exit, 30 October to 2 November

Seventeen of the 19 statements came on 30 October, one on 31 October and one on 2 November. Times are UTC, decoded from post IDs.

Thirteen timed statements landed in the 4 hours 20 minutes between 12:59 and 17:19 UTC on 30 October. Apex to Earn2Trade took 3 days, 9 hours and 21 minutes. Take Profit Trader's post can only be placed before 13:49, so its position is approximate. Traders Launch dates its decision to the day before its post.

Some announcements were parodies from firms with no partnership to end, such as Funded Trader Markets' thanks for "the zero years of collaboration". None count here. The Prop Standard covers them in depth.

What the site said on 2 November

The site's 2 November statement gives its own dates, an estimate and an offer to firms. The behaviour, it says, began in October 2025 on "Copy Code" and "Buy" clicks, and was extended in March 2026 to some firm names and logos. It says it disabled the behaviour on 29 October and removed it from the live site on 31 October, and that prices and discounts were unchanged.

The site estimates the impact at a "low single-digit percentage" of commissions from most firms. By its account this is a modelled figure for 46 tracked partners, covering 1 June to 29 October only. On the site's own dates, that window is about five of the roughly 12 months the behaviour ran. No outside audit has been announced.

It offers reconciliation to "every firm we have worked with". No outcome has been published. Where a partnership has ended, the site says "we do not display the associated offers", and it says it "continues to operate as normal".

What to watch next

Three questions remain open as of 6 November 2026. We found nothing newer than 2 November, in a search of X last run that day.

  1. Whether reconciliation produces anything. The only commission figure so far comes from the site's own model.
  2. Whether claims follow. FundingPips' chief executive was reported as saying "financial claims are going to be pursued." That wording comes from a search snippet, not the post itself. We found no filing, lawsuit or regulator action.
  3. Whether more firms leave. After 17 statements on 30 October came one on 31 October and one on 2 November. Tradeify says "We'll be looking closely at all of our affiliates going forward." No firm we found has publicly said it is staying.

Prop Weekly will update this count if a firm or the site publishes more.
