Editorial policy
Prop Weekly is published by Prop Weekly Editorial in the United Kingdom. This page sets out how stories get made, so you can judge them accordingly.
How stories are sourced
Our material is the public record: a firm’s own rules pages, pricing tables, changelogs, announcements and terms documents. Where a story describes a rule or a price, that figure was read from the firm’s own pages on or before the publication date shown at the top of the article.
If a firm does not publish a figure, we write that it is not published. We do not infer it, and we do not carry it over from a competitor or an older version of the same page. Prop firms revise terms frequently, so every story is a dated snapshot — always confirm live terms on the firm’s own site before you act on anything you read here.
Use of AI
We use AI tools for drafting and research assistance. We disclose that because it is true and because you are entitled to know how a page was made. What does not change is accountability: every story is reviewed against its primary sources before publication, and Prop Weekly Editorial is responsible for the published result. Unreviewed generated text is not published.
Story artwork is generated from the article’s own title and branding. We do not publish synthetic photographs of people, places, offices or events, and we do not present any generated image as a photograph of something that happened.
Independence, advertising and affiliates
Prop Weekly is not a prop firm, a broker or a custodian. We do not sell evaluations or funded accounts, and we do not accept payment for coverage, for a verdict, or for placement in a story. We may run display advertising and clearly disclosed affiliate links; neither buys editorial treatment.
Prop Weekly is part of a network that also operates propfirmpal.com, thepropstandard.com and proptechpal.com. Links between those sites are disclosed as what they are — see the about page for the full ownership disclosure.
Corrections
We correct errors of fact promptly and visibly. The corrections page explains what we correct, what we do not, and how to report something. You can also email contact@propweekly.com directly.
Not financial advice
Nothing on this site is personalised financial advice or a recommendation to buy an evaluation. Prop trading carries a risk of loss and challenge fees are generally non-refundable. See the risk disclaimer.
Frequently asked questions
Does Prop Weekly use AI to write articles?
AI tools are used for drafting and research assistance. Every published story is reviewed against the primary sources it cites before it goes out, and Prop Weekly Editorial is accountable for what appears on the page. We do not publish unreviewed generated text.
Where do the facts in a story come from?
Prop firms’ own published pages, announcements and documentation, read on the date given at the top of the story. Where a figure is not published by the firm, we say so rather than estimating it.
Do advertisers or prop firms influence coverage?
No. Prop Weekly does not sell evaluations, operate a prop firm, or accept payment for coverage or placement. Display advertising and any affiliate links are disclosed and have no bearing on what we cover or what we conclude.
How quickly are errors corrected?
As soon as we can verify the correct information. Substantive corrections are noted on the story itself; see the corrections page for what qualifies and how to report one.
