FTMO was the most visited prop firm website in September 2026, the first time it has led the Prop Firm Pal traffic index since the series began in November 2025. It got there with 9.92M estimated visits and a gain of only 3.4%, because the two sites ahead of it fell. Funding Pips dropped to second and Lucid Trading to third.

Total visits fell 7.6% on the same 418 sites, from 107.3M to 99.2M. Four sites made up 91% of that net fall. As of 6 November 2026, September is the newest month in the index.

Four sites made up the fall

Funding Pips, Take Profit Trader, Lucid Trading and Goat Funded Trader lost 7.45M visits between them, against a net fall of 8.16M. The other 414 sites fell 0.9%.

The calendar accounts for part of the headline. August has 31 days and September has 30, so a site with steady daily traffic shows a 3.2% fall. Per day, the index fell 4.5%, and the 414 sites outside the big four rose 2.4%.

The split by size says the same thing. The 17 sites above 1M visits in August fell 10.3%, and only three of them grew: FTMO, Funded Next and Tradeify. The 118 sites between 50K and 1M fell 3.3%. The 283 sites under 50K rose 14.7%, or 4.6% without EZE Funded, which went from 5,760 visits to 325,140.

The top ten, August to September

Tradeify and Take Profit Trader made the largest moves in the table. Tradeify climbed from eighth to fifth and Take Profit Trader slid from fifth to ninth.

Estimated monthly visits to each firm's website, from the Prop Firm Pal traffic index, read on 6 November 2026.

The top ten held 57.4% of all visits, down from 58.2%. Seventeen sites passed 1M in each month, and three names changed. Alpha Futures, Funded Trader Markets and Aqua Funded dropped below the line. Top One Trader, Breakout and Equity Edge crossed it.

Five of the sites that shaped the top of the table, November 2025 to September 2026. Prop Firm Pal traffic index, estimates.

The lead has changed hands often. Topstep, Funding Pips, Take Profit Trader, Lucid Trading and now FTMO have each led outright in the 11 months of the series.

FTMO's step came before its futures launch

Most of FTMO's rise happened in August, when it went from 7.04M to 9.59M, a gain of 36.2%. Finance Magnates and FX News Group reported the FTMO Futures beta on 31 August 2026. Archived copies of FTMO's English homepage from 13 to 25 August have no futures item, and a capture of its futures page from 31 August shows "Futures Beta" in the navigation. So the launch sits at the end of that step, and September, the first full month after it, added 3.4%.

FTMO's futures pages sit on ftmo.com, so any visits they draw are counted in FTMO's total. FTMO has now risen every month since May, up 80.0% from 5.51M. Funded Next has also risen every month since May, from 6.02M to 7.68M, its highest figure in the series.

Tradeify's jump and what was on its homepage

Tradeify gained 1.91M visits, the largest gain in the index. Its 5.73M is also its highest figure in the series.

One dated change stands out. Archived copies of Tradeify's homepage show no Premier Trading League block on 22 or 26 August 2026, and on 13 September it reads "Join the $1,000,000 Premier Trading League. Free to enter." Tradeify's help centre gives registration for the first qualifier, Open 1, as 8 to 20 September, with no purchase required, and the terms give its contest period as 21 September to 15 October. The 13 September capture also adds a Forex item to the site's navigation.

The homepage discount changed as well. The 22 August capture offers 40% off for five uses, then 30%. The 13 September capture offers 50% off for two uses, then 30%, under the same AUG code. The index cannot say how much of the rise came from the league, the discount or anything else, and Tradeify has published no figure we could find. Prop Weekly's Tradeify page collects our coverage of the firm.

Take Profit Trader has fallen four months running

Take Profit Trader went from 10.55M in May to 2.94M in September, a fall of 72.1%. In February it led the index with 10.94M.

May: 10.55M

June: 8.45M

July: 6.26M

August: 5.15M

September: 2.94M

The site has not moved: takeprofittrader.com still loaded normally on 6 November 2026. Archived homepages from 7 August and 2 October both show the same 40% code, so that offer was on the homepage on both sides of the fall.

The firm's help centre now carries a Sustainable Trading Policy, a PRO+ Development account with reduced contract sizing, and a 30-day pause on new purchases after $10,000 of net live-capital losses on those accounts. Those pages describe rules for funded traders and say nothing about traffic. We could not establish when each took effect, and we have no evidence linking them to the fall. Visits can include existing traders logging in, so a fall in visits does not measure lost customers or payouts.

Futures lost more than the rest

The 25 futures sites in the comparison fell 8.9%, against 7.0% for the other 393. Without Tradeify, futures fell 16.7%, from 29.05M to 24.20M.

A longer view uses only the sites measured in all 11 months, so growth in coverage does not flatter it.

Since November, the futures sites are up 31.4% against 19.4% for the others, and all 240 are up 23.1%. Futures have given back more since July. Within the 25, Tradeify's share went from 11.6% to 19.1% and Take Profit Trader's from 15.7% to 9.8%. Multi-market brands such as FTMO count under their main domain and sit in the other group. Topstep, which led the index in November 2025, fell 13.6%.

Prop Firm Pal traffic index, read on 6 November 2026.

Two of these need context. Pivex is recovering from a low and remains far below its 893,270 visits in May. Vanta Trading had 1.24M in July, so September is a much steeper fall than one month shows. Tradeify 247's domain, tradeify247.co, redirected to a Tradeify Perps early-access page on 6 November.

All five sites in the lower half of the table were loading on 6 November 2026. A collapse in visits is not proof of a closure, and none of the five is listed as a confirmed closure on the Prop Weekly shutdown tracker, which keeps closures and traffic falls in separate lists. X Pips and Vanta Trading are on its traffic watchlist.

In the mid-table, E8 Markets rose 69.0% to 634,930, after falling in August. A September roundup of firm updates lists a new browser terminal at E8 in the same month.

What the October figures can test

Three September events may not show fully in these numbers.

Funding Pips: Forex Prop Reviews reported on 28 September that it dropped its Risk Per Trade Idea rule, Striking System and Profit Concentration rule, for new purchases only and not for Zero accounts. A change at that date leaves only the last days of the month. Funding Pips ended September 26.8% below its July high of 12.67M.

Tradeify: Open 1 ran from 21 September to 15 October, so October covers its closing weeks. The terms set the second qualifier, Open 2, for 26 October to 19 November.

Goat Funded Trader: the roundup says its forex and futures sides moved to one platform and account system in September, with no day given. October is the first full month after it.

How the index works

The Prop Firm Pal traffic index records an estimated monthly visit count for each tracked firm's website. Figures are rounded estimates and do not come from the firms. September covers 428 sites, and the month-on-month figures use the 418 measured in both months. The full table is in the Prop Firm Industry Traffic Report. This article reports what the index shows and is not advice on choosing a firm.
